Aurora conducted our ceremony tailored to us and gave us great suggestions and guidance throughout the whole process. She prepared us as much as she could without being too rehearsed so that we would have a magical day (and we did!).

Aurora offered great advice but really listened to what we wanted to include in our ceremony and what was important to us, she was quick to respond to any questions we had and was great in helping us to incorporate some Maori traditions into our ceremony also. She was well presented on the day, professional and really made an effort to make the ceremony special for us. We were planning our wedding in Auckland from Palmerston North but contacting Aurora wasn’t a problem as she would Skype and e-mail us regularly to ensure everything was planned without any stress or worry. We were really glad we had her there as part of our day.

We were married at the Parnell rose gardens in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Aurora was our celebrant and was very lovely to deal with and had a calming manner about her.
She was flexible on where she could meet us to discuss the ceremony and forthcoming with advice for our vows and procedures on the day.
We really loved our wedding day and were pleased we could have Aurora part of it.

We discovered Aurora just googling the Internet and it was an absolute hit! We were tremendously lucky to meet Aurora. Together with her we implemented all our hopes and dreams about wedding day. She is the talent of organization: we didn’t need to worry about anything as far as it was possible – all our business was to say what we want. With Aurora our wedding in a foreign country happened to be much easier than we thought.

YOUR CELEBRANT
Multi-cultural and multi-lingual, I was born in Portugal. At the age of three, I emigrated with my parents to Germany, where I was raised and educated. After raising a family in England for a number of years I emigrated once again, this time to New Zealand.
I was a registered Marriage Celebrant in New Zealand from 2012 to 2020, and hold a Certificate in Celebrant Studies through the Celebrant School, New Zealand.
As a member of the Celebrants’ Association of New Zealand Inc (CANZ), I had a strong commitment to continued education, quality service, professional standards and ethics, and strive to deliver excellent service.
Fluent in English, Portuguese and German, and with ability in Spanish and French, I am able to add that extra dimension to ceremony, especially in a mixed culture ceremonies.
